It was really a photographic dream to be able to document this wonderful celebration.  This wedding had it all-beautiful people, colors, food, traditions, details, laughter, singing, dancing. This wedding was very special to me since it was my best friends sister getting married!    Randi was a stunning bride, gushing about the “dreamy” groom she had.   Every part of this day turned out beautifully.  The perfectly blue skies and fields of wildflowers were the perfect backdrop for a country drive out to the venue: Hacienda del Lago overlooking Lake Travis.  The private little getaway even had albino peacocks and pygmy goats.  Every element of this wedding was more significant by the family and friends that combined talents with food, decorations, music, and love.  I was so honored to play a part in a wonderful family’s wonderful day!

I had such a fun time meeting with Jennifer for our consultation that I just knew I was going to enjoy her wedding as well. TJ and Jennifer are simply giddy in love.  Their intimate affair at the Wingate’s Lake house in New Braunfels was on a perfect afternoon for a fall outdoor wedding.

Brad and Katie’s reception  Friday night was simply beautiful.  The two tied the knot earlier the month with a beach wedding in South Carolina, and invited family and friends to celebrate in San Antonio at Los Encinos.  This venue has such a magical quality with a true Texas feel.  The October weather was just cool enough to make for a refreshing evening.  Katie and I are often side by side acting like clowns to conjure smiles from little ones as assistants for Heartstrings Photography, so it was really fun to see her let loose and be in her element with those she loves.  Since Katie’s mother is 100% Polish the festivities included a traditional Polish wedding dance, which was one of the funnest reception dances I have ever seen.  Everyone took part and it really got the dance floor going.   You can register to see all of the wedding photos when they become available here: Katie and Brad’s Wedding

The San Antonio Current has their Best of San Antonio 2009 issue out on stands!  Leafing through the pages I noticed  people and places that made the list for which I had some photos. So here’s a few for you to enjoy…

Andrew Weissman tied with Jason Dady in this catagory.  Owner of The Lodge, Bin 555, Tre Trattoria, and Two Bros BBQ

I have had the opportunity  photograph several weddings at The Lodge, including the one below, and they are always very elegant.
